YOU ARE A WITCH. And I will accuse you all I want.

And I could just be MEAN and CHILDISH and NOT TELL YOU, but I am too excited as it is-- in the game there's something called Eagle Vision, and if you use it, enemies will turn red, targets/people of interest will glow gold, and blue means they are allies! It is very useful, but it will make you run into buildings.

Also yes. You have to play this game. Somehow.

ohhhh I HAVE HEARD TALK OF THIS 'EAGLE VISION' YOU SPEAK OF BEFORE but nobody ever thought to mention that it works in colour.

(and you know you hold much the same power over my brain, it's just you are more likely to sit down and finish shit in a timely manner.)

But what are Tharkay's thoughts on Templars?!

And do dragons have their own colors as well? Is that how he chooses the ferals that come with him to help Laurence? Does he tell ever Laurence about it?

Does Jane know - Jane totally knows/suspects, she just has to. And Laurence probably knows the rumors about Assassins and Templars, but does not suspect Tharkay could be among their numbers, most probably because he does not believe they are true.

I love crossover/fusions - I love the idea of this particular one. Because it could be used to explain so much about Tharkay - his evasiveness, his dislike of the gentry, the fact that he just about disappears from the books at times (he's off on jobs murdurlating people!), his mysterious employers!

Oh oh oh, now you've done it and made me think of detailsWell, since Tharkay's a decedent of Altair with the Eagle vision and all that, I think the Assassin Order would put a lot of pressure on him to make something of himself. In my (growing) headcanon, I think he wanted to deviate from that path and later ran away (much like Desmond). He was partly successful, but he's still got his ties to the Order. This would explain him being Assassin-trained, but able to go off and do his own thing for a bit. So, really, I think he's kind of neutral about Templars and just wants to stay away from any sort of huge conflict

Hahah, I'm always worried that I make them too fluffy. I dread the day I start writing them cooing and fawning over each other, and don't notice what's wrong. With the way it's going, that day will probably be soon, hrrgrnnn. /o\

BUT AHHHHHHHHHHH OMG<33 Temeraire was, like, my last fandom (and still is, though I'm maining AC at the moment, but--) AAAAAND THARKAY IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS. He comes in the third book, I'm sorry to say. And I think the second book is the slowest of the series, kinda one of those transition novels.

But, oh man, if you ever step into the Temeraire fandom (which is tiny but filled with very lovely works), you find that crossovers are pretty popular. It is like a spreading disease. Also I can talk about Temeraire forever, so I'll just shut up now, hurrrrf.

I think I could live with them cooing and fawning over each other if it's mixed with the proper amount of "LET ME PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE YOU DAMN BASTARD" and other endearing things like that. xD

pffft well I will have to read faster then, damn. and I can kinda see what you mean, two-thirds into the book and they JUST got to China.

Once I manage to read everything I shall definitely have to check it out. AND CROSSOVERS ARE MY FAVORITE SECOND ONLY TO AUs SO YAY.

OH YEAH. Face punches are totally required, of course.

Ahahaha, one of the faults of the series is that there's just so much damn traveling, but sometimes it's INTERESTING traveling, but Throne of Jade was kind of... meh. The only good thing about rereading is that I get to see Granby being all adorable in addition to the usual Laurence+Temeraire sweetness, heh.

And, hee, if you need any recs when you finish, I will gladly vomit up some links. 8)

Oh god, the Temeraire/AC crossover ♥ it makes me want to finish my own Temeraire/AC crossover, but haha what is finishing fics >_>

And Altair should totally draw more, Malik laughing at them or not xD
