Well Ayla called home this morning. I guess she has decided to leave Iowa TODAY!! I tried explaining to her that this probably wasnt the best time to travel. Tropical storm fay has been sending rain bands our way since last night and it is flooding here. We are also under a Tornado watch till 7pm tonight. Fay is supposed to follow the coast and

Yeah I thought it was a pretty bad idea too. She should have waited a couple of days for it to clear. Back in 2005 Maricel and I were driving back from North Carolina to Iowa after I got out of the Army and we hit the remnants of Katrina. It was some of the worst driving I have ever had.
I am sorry things didn't work out with her. I was hoping she would sign up for school and stay for a while. I honestly don't understand teenagers anymore. I hope she makes it back safely.

Dont worry about it brother. I have come to the conclusion that teenagers are aliens that we will never be able to understand. I guess she left this morning, she text her father. I think she is mad at me for suggesting she stay longer. Oh well i will keep you updated on her safety.
