On the road again...

I'm in Heimstetten Germany, which is a not-quite technological nerdistan of Munich. It's just outside Munich, among the cow pastures and it's boring as anything. I've got five people in my class, two from the Czech Republic, one from France, one from Germany, and one from Switzerland. Yes, though finding enough different types of greens was difficult this year. Apparently few people eat Red Kale, which we love dearly. Finally we got four plants at the farm market, from someone selling mixed greens for salad.I think this year I will have to try to get some seed. But we have lacinato kale, red kale, chard, a purple heirloom tomato of the romantic name of the Black Prince, a bunch of oniony things, and peas. We will eat it all. If I ever get organized this year, I want to put in rocambole garlic. I love that stuff, and it keeps forever. Lots of it, because the babies are so good sliced up and baked with potatoes ( ... )

I doubt even Antartica is safe, they just don't realize they need you yet.

It's silly that we live so close and see each other so seldom. I always read your blog!! I have packages of chard, spinach, and mustard seeds if you want any.

I'm going to try to work from home at least once every other week, so perhaps we can have lunch some time.

You're up late! It's 9 am here, so it must be midnight there!

This is all good. I think we are ok for vegetables now.

WFH makes total sense for you. I can come over some off day and bring food, as I don't have any schedule most of the time. We can get mustard greens from your garden and put them in soup.
