K, time for us to let the cat out of the bag.  We're birth parents of one Jeremy Ashford and one Gillian Mildred.  We ultimately chose to adopt them out to a very nice lesbian couple up north.

I've been thinking about you guys a lot, especially since my birthmom and I are more and more in touch. As I am pretty sure I've mentioned to you, those babies are very lucky to come from such amazing people and to have a wonderful loving home.

Good luck with the bookselling job.

I hope you listed me as a reference, and I hope they call so I can tell even more people how awesome you are.

Also, sorry about the drunk dial, but y'all needed to be involved. :P

Yep, we listed you. :)

Drunk dial away. It's always fun to know when the Dingo is up to her antics!

It's amazing to me that we live in the same town, used to be friends yet I am so utterly clueless about you life aside from LJ updates. I guess I need to much more of an effort to keep up with you. C'est la vie. I am holding you guys in my thoughts for both the adjustment and for the job. Good luck guys.

I'll admit that I'm not always very good at keeping in touch. Especially between current job issues and finding another, the pregnancy situation, and all kinds of other -ness that happens o n a day-to-day basis with us. It's always good to know that you're still out there doing your thing, though. ;)

Thanks and yeah, the sooner you found yourself associated with babies - the better. :)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: congrats on the birth-parent thing, and good luck with the jorb-type thing!
