The new job opportunity stuff is panning out nicely, one could say. Except the lovely glaze of having two companies fighting to give you a job has worn off, and left behind a slightly tarnished, matte finished version of itself.

    So, I walked into an interview today at that University book store on campus and got offered a Job on the Spot. Who Roxorz interviewer Soxorz? That'd be Me. Today started off okay. Then it became sucky. Really sucky. Don't ever put faith in a 'Stealership' (re: dealership). Evar. But, we're still in the fight and the Mouse has a very long, detailed letter she'll be sending to the Better Business Bureau when it's all over. In any event, we very well may have found a worthy mechanic...

Have the new truck, but it will take money to get square. For the first time in my life, I'll have a car payment - and it's not a small one. The bank is requiring us to get car insurance that covers to the nines - so a bill I fought to keep low, is going to go up. A lot ( Read more... )

Tatu was a pop band out of Russia for those some may have (fortunately or unfortunately) missed. They were a pseudo-lesbian gimmick, but they hit the states when I was in Russian class and it was an easy way to study. In any case, like the song. It's vaguely referential, and the next 30 minutes are gonna be crucial for us...
