-bought a carton of smokes
-went out for sushi w/ Lucies
-took a few swings at the local batting cages
-shot the ol' BB gun
-played w/ Andrew's dog for a while

So my parents have nixed my plans for having a pet cricket this summer. Apparently loud, chirping insects with an alarmingly high reproductive rate are cause for concern.

Have you ever slept in the same room as a cricket? It will drive you insane in a matter of minutes. Like having small holes drilled in your mind. If it gets out, it'll take you weeks and a cat or a ferret to get rid of the damn thing.
