I've been with LiveJournal for 15 years. I've posted over 6,800 journal entries, and received almost 22,000 comments. That's a lot, but my relationship with LJ may change very soon.

This article has disturbing news about how the administration of LiveJournal has been moved overseas, and all contents put under scrutiny. Speech may not be as free ( Read more... )

That is indeed disturbing. I'll have to give BlogBooker a try. I've never archived any of my LJ content.

I migrated to DreamWidth. https://entp2007.dreamwidth.org. It was pretty painless. I kept the same username though I didn't have to. It didn't import some of the embeds which I may have to fix manually. I am leaving LJ because of their new terms and conditions which are pretty awful. I still would like an archive, so I'm going to check out BlogBooker.
