Our first auctions for Great Strides are supposed to start next Tuesday on eBay and so far not looking so good. We have very few items being donated. I've only received completed auction donation forms from four people! I need pictures of the donated items by this Friday at midnight and I haven't received a single one of those

Oh, crapwads, I missed the whole "fill out the form" thing. I have two pairs of earrings and a gorgeous beaded flower pin from work colleague #1 and I should have some more jewelry from work colleague #2 next week. I'll email you pics by Friday.

Also almost done with an embroidered baby bib that says "Give Peas a Chance." Will finish and have pic by Friday.

Eeep! I hadn't realized the auctions were so soon!

I'm planning to make at least one, hopefully two Jayne Cobb hats. I likely won't have them ready until the second auction, however.

Those are so cool! Thank you for making them, I can't wait to see pics when you finish. I know what you mean about the auction date sneaking up. Where did my March go?

I'm so sorry, but I think I'm only going to be able to make one hat for the auction. I've seen them sell for almost $30, though, so I hope it goes for a good amount! The hat is currently drying, so tomorrow I'll be able to attach the pom-pom and send a picture (and revamped description) to you. Also, I'm happy to mail the hat out at my own cost, so I don't require reimbursement.

Ehhh I'm pretty sure you have artistic bones ... you are into all that Day of the Dead art, aren't you? ;) And I've seen your GoodReads to-read list, LOL. I bet spare time is more the issue considering you've got three kiddos keeping you hopping constantly! Either way, I'm as happy to accept straight donations as I am to accept auction items. I think I already said this, but yes, anything you can donate I'd be more than happy to accept. Next set of auctions goes up Thursday 4/10. THANK YOU!
