Another Crazy Weekend
For someone who doesn't usually go on adventures, March has been the month of crazy weekend. Last weekend was skiing, next weekend is Toronto (instead of Sakuracon *sniff*) and this weekend was Igor's goodbye party.
I headed down to the AIESEC house and ended up making green pancakes for everyone (seeing as it was St. Patty's Day and Igor loves pancakes). Originally I had planned on going home around midnight, but there were a few people there who had taken St. Patty's to the extreme and I didn't want Min on her own to take care of everybody. So I decided to stay. I helped cleanup and make sure Igor was packed. I finally got to sleep around 3:00 am, and then got up again at 5:00. We loaded up Igor's stuff and headed to the airport around 6:00. Igor's flight was at 7:30, so we went to Timmy's for some breakfast on the way. We got him checked in and then said goodbyes. Even though mine was not goodbye but see you later, it was still sad. I hate it when our AIESECers have to leave. We got back downtown at 7:45 and I was soooo tired I fell alseep again. This time until 11:00. Then well all went for brunch at John's Place. It was a beautiful day. Since I was downtown, I did a little shopping. I was looking for Whisper of the Heart, but ended up buying a documentary about Ramses II and his relation to the Exodus (it has osteological archeology!) and Waking Ned Divine, a really funny Scottish movie that was cheap. I also picked up a book on Teaching Oneself Brazilian Portugese, which I'm really looking forward to reading. After that, I finally headed home and fell alseep on the couch for another two hours. Then I went for Bubble tea and watched Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. It was really good. Then I came home, and slept.
So pretty crazy. And I fly out at 8:00 pm on Thursday for T.O. Get back on Monday morning at 7:30. My life is nuts right now @_@.
And I really need to write my paper.... :P
