Modern law makes it their problem. If you have back pain and your employer makes no effort to give you ergonomic perfection, they are liable for your medical situation. This, of course, is where all those back-pain-lawyer commercials come from.
Maybe you could request one of those insanely cool captain-style chairs with all the bells and whistles? [grin]
Hey, just be glad they "care". It took nearly 5 months to get my new keyboard tray after it was deemed to be the cause of my tendonitis and de-quarvains (spelling sucks) and I still don't have a proper chair (mine drops a few inches on it's own, just while I'm sitting there minding my own business). So, it could be worse ;)
BTW, I hear Tony loves his new seat...I need a heads up on the brand, or maybe borrow it...you know if he out grows it by the time he's 11 months old and his cousin is born ;)
Yeah, I suppose... though I'd believe it was them "caring" if I didn't know my supervisors so well. Right now it just feels like them sticking their nose in my business.
As for Tony's seat - it's a Fisher Price Kick & Play. But I'm sure he'll either have outgrown it or will be too busy crawling around (or walking!) to use it when his cousin is born, so you can borrow it. :)
