Meet The Heros

Fierce, but deadly. Ruthless, yet camp.

These three superheroes fabulously fight for justice.

Walking into the kitchen, Ben inhaled the smell of Kitten’s delicious pancakes. He could see that Will and Skandar had already shoveled a generous of gooey pancakes down their throats, so he quickly took his seat.

“Good morning Meester Barnez!” Kitten cheerily said, placing a neat stack of pancakes on his plate.

“Good morning Kitten, how are you?” Ben asked, cutting his pancakes into nice, little squares.

“Dude, don’t be a fag.” Will said, pointing at Ben’s plate.

“Don’t be mean, Meester Mozeley,” Kitten said, chastising Will, “I’m good sir, yourzelf?”

“I’m doing excellent. I love your pancakes Kitten, they’re delicious-stop mocking Skandar!” Ben exclaimed, throwing a pancake square at his face.

“Boyz! Beehave yourzelvez.” Kitten said, hands fisted on her hips as she glared at them.
Mumbling their apologies, the boys continued to eat their pancakes, only daring to make fun of each other when Kitten wasn’t paying attention.

As Ben was finishing his pancakes, the TV screen from the ceiling lowered down and buzzed to life. Seconds later, G.H. appeared on the screen.

“Morning boys!” She said, smiling and waving sporadically.

Skandar rolled his eyes while Ben and Will waved happily back, smiling as if G.H. was the cutest damn thing in the world…which she is.

“What’s up G.H.?” Skandar asked, elbows on the table as he pressed his hands together.

“You boys have to be at Armani at 2 o’clock for a suit fitting,” She began saying, counting on her fingers, “Skandar and Ben, I called Michael to let him know about our flight change to Mexico. Last, I made some modifications to your gear, they’ll be arriving at the house shortly.”

“That all G.H.?” Will asked, collecting the dirty plates for Kitten to wash.

“That’s it. See you later boys!” G.H. waved goodbye, and then the screen went back as it rose back into the ceiling.

“Why do guys need a flight change to Mexico?” Will asked.

“G.H. didn’t want to leave Will P. alone.” Skandar said, chuckling.

Ben began snickering, “Yeah, they’re kinda a thing now.”

The two boys laughed at Will’s sour expression. The thought of G.H. dating sent shivers down his back, as he made a mental note to have a chat with Will P. later.

“I wonder when that package will get-” Kitten began saying, but was interrupted by a loud crash.

“I think it’s here.” Ben smiled, getting up as Kitten sighed dramatically. She really hated it when G.H.’s packages broke parts of the house.

Ben walked into the living room, seeing the box in the middle with large pieces of glass surrounding it.

“Broke the sky light!” He called out, as the other three entered the room.

Carefully, he crunched through the glass and grabbed the box. The four walked out of the room, Kitten starring up at the sky light in horror until it was out of her vision.

Standing by the large bookshelf, Skandar pulled on Hamlet and then stepped back as the bookshelf swung open. They walked into the darkened tunnel, swatting away cobwebs and protecting Kitten from the bats that seem to congregate in their lair.

“Seriously, we gotta figure out how these bats are getting in.” Will said, punching the bat that just dove at him in the face.

Grabbing a torch from the wall, Ben walked in front and entered the large, dark room. Feeling around, he found the torch mount and placed the torch there.

“Much better.” He said, flicking on the light switch that was beneath the torch mount.

The lair, or The Shire as Skandar liked to call it, lit up, the Japanese paper lanterns they had casting strange shadows on the wall. The Shire was divided into three sections; Will’s stuff was in the front, since he was the ‘leader’, of sorts. Skandar’s was to the left, and Ben was to the right.

Setting the package down on the table, he pulled out the switchblade he kept hidden in his pants and cut it open.

“Let’s see…Will, for you,” He handed Will a rainbow colored bag, “And Skandar, here’s your’s.” He handed Skandar a checkered bag.

“Oooh! She made the real thick Sequoia Knit scarves, this will totally come in handy!” Will exclaimed, wrapping it around himself.

“Rocket fuel for my jet pack.” Skandar said, smiling as he went to his corner of the room.

“Meester Ben?” Kitten asked, pointing to his bag that was decorated with fishes.

“Let’s see,” Ben said, opening the bag, “Sweet, double bladed baits.”

The boys were happily fiddling with their accessories of justice when the alarms went off. G.H. appeared on the large screen, looking frantic.

“What’s up?” All three boys asked, hands on their hips as bats flew behind them.

“Zombies!” G.H. yelled, whipping out a gun, “I’ll meet you there!”

The screen went black, and the three superheroes looked at each other.

“Hurry up!” Kitten yelled, throwing Ben his goulashes.

AN: What will happen to our heroes? Will they triumph over the zombies? Are Will. P and G.H. gonna become serious? Will the bats ever leave The Shire?!?!
