[It's a lovely 4th of July, and just like previous July 4ths Luke is in the holiday spirit. He's spent a good thirteen years of his life in this quaint, American town and what better way to spend it then lighting off fireworks and spending some time with his dear friends and family. [Clearly, there's nothing better than a game of backyard baseball in the summer. Slugger drags the welcome mat onto the lawn to use for home plate.]

[Luke is tossing a baseball up into the air and catching it. He seems pretty excited to play.]

[He assumes his stance in the imaginary batter's box, eyes on the ball. If there's something unusual about all of this, he hasn't realized it.]

[He decides on the best way to pitch, and then with a slight movement throws the ball.]

[Since when did Edward Nigma play sports? That's an excellent question... that'll have to wait for later. But it looks like dear ol' Dad's got himself a baseball mitt from the garage.]

Heh, you bet I would!

[There's no real conflict or hesitation here. The non!droned Luke enjoyed baseball, maybe not quite with the same enthusiasm but it was still enjoyable.]

[Death still can't completely settle on why she's here. To visit her grandchildren, or to check on Edward? Her appearance is similarly undecided, fluctuating between her usual preference and one more suiting the title Grandma]

[For some reason that didn't sound quite right, but whatever his grandma is here and he's happy to see her.]
