In fact after a dangerous run-in with his fake droned father, Luke wasn’t even that willing to leave his own room. After all, no one knew who would be next

[Hey, so about that fake droned dad. Well, he's not droned anymore. And he's not dead anymore. But he's still stuck down in the basement, tied to a chair. Stupid Susan, always tying him up every time he tries to kill the family. He's not droned. He's not crazy not that crazy, anyway. So he'll look up at Luke almost hopefully when he meanders downstairs.]

Am I free to go now?

[Then he catches sight of the bloody baseball bat in Luke's hand.]

Hi dad!

[Oh look, isn't Luke just so cheerful holding that bat?]

Do you want to play baseball with me?

Luke... why is there blood on that bat?

[Oh god, is this what it was like dealing with him last night?]

[Luke calmly looks at the bat, tapping it lightly on the ground. Not only is there a lot of blood on that bat, but there's quite a lot of blood on himself as well. Some of it may even be his own blood.

Nonetheless, it doesn't bother him at all.]

Gee dad! I was just playing baseball with some friends, that's all! You're always such a worrywart, ha ha ha!

[Speaking of worrying, Luke is getting uncomfortable close here.]

Hello! I've never played baseball before!

[She won't shoot Luke. Yet. Instead, she smiles pleasantly. If he weren't droned, it would probably be kind of scary that she's also holding a gun but kill!drones probably don't realize the danger of other kill!drones.]

Aww, but you're a girl! Girls don't play baseball, they play with dolls!

[And he just laughs at that. The fact she's holding a gun doesn't scare him at all, but it does cause him to tighten the grip on the bat a little.]

Hey lady! That gun you're holding sure looks cool! You sure you're supposed to be holding something like that?

Actually, I am not a girl--I'm a grown woman.

[Riza continues to smile pleasantly, and releases the safety of the gun, cocking the weapon.]

You think it looks cool? Would you like to see it?

Boy would I ever! Dad's so boring, he never lets me play with guns!

[But first, he's lifting that bat up.]

Hey lady! Before that, let me show you a need trick I learned!

[Hanging up her nice black dress to smooth out the wrinkles after washing the blood out, Susan wonders vaguely if those are screams she's hearing coming from the basement.

...Probably not. One murder a week was enough even for this family, after all. She'll busy herself in the washroom.]

[Luke just waits patiently for her outside.

While Slugger disarmed him, that hasn't stopped him from trying to find the other members of the family.

He's carrying something in his hand, and by now he's covered in a lot of blood. A good amount of it is his own.]

Susan closes the door.]

[And that results in pounding on the door. Luke sways a little from blood loss as he gets up and heads toward the door.]
