Puzzle 006 - Locked to Rita

[Luke planned to check out the bowling alley eventually, but not this soon. After trying to find some kind of way to open the door, and kind of exit out, it seems that they were definitely stuck here.

He looks a little sheepishly at Rita.]

It's no use. There doesn't seem to be any way out!

[He glances over at the bowling alley. He's never bowled

Can't you even pick one blasted lock? [ Rita is visibly irritated, but at least her paranoia has faded to an intense migraine for now.... Not that that makes it much better. ] You're useless.

[ Rita, herself, has no idea what the place they're in is for. Her world doesn't have bowling. But she knew that she was kidnapped here and locked in with this runt.

It's not as though I haven't been trying, and I don't see you trying to open it either! Hmpf.

[After a few more attempts, yup looks like that lock definitely is not budging. Luke sighs in frustration.]

...well, at least we don't have to drink any milk filled with spiders or razorblades.

You want me to try? [ She doesn't give much warning, and by "much" I mean "any." Blue circles of magical power appear around her, then- ] Fireball! [ ...She blasts the door with a rather powerful fireball. ]

[Note to self: do not further irritate the girl who's already irritated with you.

While glancing back down at the lock, Luke feels intense heat on his back and
out of the corner of his eye sees what's coming his way.]

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!

[Fortunately Luke has enough sense to dive out of the way here while the fireball blasts the door, scrambling behind the nearest object. He doesn't get away completely unscathed here, his clothes are kinda singed now.]
