[So Luke’s got himself in quite the predicament. After getting into a fight with his fake father, Luke left the safety of the bunker underneath his home. But as soon as the zombies started flooding in, Luke was starting to realize what an incredibly stupid idea this was. He wouldn’t let himself go back now though, instead he’ll be searching for

Wait--I can help you! [ Blam. Whoops. Yeah he totally helped that zombie...

Oh well he should probably run away in case it decides to get up...Only, as he starts down the hall, he hears some crying in a nearby room. So after checking to make sure there weren't any more zombies running at him, Caboose sticks his head into the room. ] Hello? Uhm...are there any zombies in here? Please say no. I am sick of trying to help these guys.

[Luke jolts upright, quickly wiping his eyes on his sleeve.]

H-hello? There's no zombies in here.

[crayonbullets]

Okay good. [ He ducks into the room, closes the door behind him and shoves a desk in front of it. There. Totally zombie proof. ]

Uh...so, are you okay? Because I guess zombies are dangerous, and you are like. A little kid. Or...something.

[hintcoinplz]

[Luke kind of recognizes his voice from their first conversation, and he'll watch him move the desk.]

I'm perfectly all right.

[Lies.]

[Death does indeed roam the halls of the school. In more ways then one. And he hears the crying and follows it.]

LUKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE?

[Luke quickly rubs at his eyes. He wasn't crying, really! But he is relieved to see Death, as strange as that sounds.]

I was trying to find a place to hide.

[likescats]

[He nods, looking around the area.]

ALL THE SAME, I THINK IT WOULD BE BEST IF I TOOK YOU HOME.

[He doesn't want to go back, but he can't stay here either.]

[Edward and Susan have been searching for Luke virtually all day. Though even with Susan's surprisingly uncanny ability to keep track of virtually anyone in town, the two of them always manage to just miss him. Either due to a surprise ambush from another wave of the undead or perhaps some other distraction---in a town as crowded as Mayfield, there are plenty of opportunities to get lost in the horde.

Fortunately, though, they still haven't been infected. And now their search has taken them to the elementary school, of all places. It's been a long, long day. Hopefully they'll be able to find Luke here and bring him home. Hopefully, he's still safe as well. A cane in one hand, a shotgun in the other, the Riddler strides through the halls of Mayfield Elementary. Bloodied, roughed up, yet still undaunted. He's going to find Luke. There's no question about that.]

[Luke freezes up at the sound of the voice, and he's surprised to...no, he really shouldn't be surprised that Edward was looking for him. The anger he felt so strongly was mostly gone by now, fighting zombies had a funny way of cooling you down real quick. But as much as a part of him wanted to rush out there and meet him, Luke remains where he is and doesn't say a word.]

[Stepping through the entrance behind Edward, Susan wipes her Grandfather's sword on the wall carefully before sheathing it. The good will that had sent them out on this mission originally had worn somewhat thin; Susan had regressed back to heckling Eddie at most opportunities. Still. Their tandem adventure was nearing its end.]

Luke?

Do you remember that conversation we had right before I left? The one where you told me I shouldn't go out?

[Edward meanders through the hallway just ahead of Susan, gingerly prodding open each door with the crook of his cane. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. But as he approaches yet another classroom, he can hear something that he hadn't quite heard before. Crying. Is that him? Is he in there...?

Another light prod of his cane, and the door to the classroom Luke's holed himself up in will slowly creak open.]

[Driving around town in her roadroller when she notices Luke. And then she notices that his legs are effectively chainsaws.

....Just like the man in the sketchbook he showed her...

She's just going to roll up next to him]

Luke, what'cha doing? ♪

[Luke comes to a screeching halt, glancing nervously at his legs.]

Rin, you're okay!

[...somehow he should've known better to be worried with that roadroller, but oh well.]

'Course I am! I can't die, so how could I become a zombie?!

More importantly, what is THAT. ♪

[she doesn't even need to point it out, she assumes.]

Well, as it turns out there's some people out there with pretty crazy powers.

[Clip clop clip clop Lucas's table is fast, maneuverable, and never tires, meaning that he's traveled across town a few times already, today. He's seen quite a few people he was concerned for... And missed still as many.

Time to cross one off the list, though.]

Luke....?!

[Luke comes to a sudden halt - a little too sudden though, as he's still getting used to the idea of using chainsaw blades as transportation. After crashing forward, he looks up.]

Lucas? Is that you?

[a_gentle_boy]

Wha -- How are you doing that?

[Lucas sounds completely astonished; the table continues to carry him forward after Luke falls, and it takes a moment or two before he realizes he's moving away.]

Oh, go back! Are you OK, Luke?

[Luke gets back up with a grunt, dusting himself off.]

Ah, I'm fine! And um, it' a long story. Are you doing alright, Lucas?
