The day before my final design (yesterday), after I had drafted 6 plates of drafting for Carmen, it was announced that we are not doing Carmen anymore. We will instead be doing Romeo and Juliet. Take that! I will start a new show today rather than finishing the one I am almost done with....

I am more amused than upset. Can't even tell you why.

It's the first day of the third semester of my grad school career. If I can make it through this next 15 weeks, I can make it through grad school.

School starts on Monday and all I can think is that I would be happier if I dropped my classes with my adviser. I got an A- in his class last semester and an A- for painting La Boheme. The grade in his class may be deserved, but the grade or painting is not. That's not ego talking, that is simply the fact that I painted on that show nonstop, ( Read more... )
