question--bridge to terabithia...i read the book ages ago, but i don't remember it being so fantastical...or was it? i saw the preview and while it looks quite cool i don't remember any of that

was i on crack while reading or did the moviemakers just take a cool title and go

You are correct, Myra, the movie seems to have taken the book places it never went.

My son Al is quite annoyed by this:p.

Well if you're on crack, then so am I because I don't remember any of that stuff either. I remember the book being bittersweet more than anything...

Interviews with the author's son indicate that basically those previews all take place in the last ten minutes of the movie, that the movie is very true to the book but that the marketing is grossly misrepresenting the film and the family is not at all happy about this.
