Poor mommy pug

Oct 24, 2005 18:45

The mommy pug was attacked by a pitbull today. That nasty pitbull put his poopy nose under the fence, was barking and Pugzie ran over there. Well, that dog grabbed the pug's leg. I took her to the vet, and she may lose her leg. She lost all of her toes except for one, and I saw the bone, blood and torn up fur hanging off of her leg ( Read more... )

And you're one of the few people that she likes...

Thank you for your good vibes. I'll pass on the word to Pugzie so she knows.

I hope they take the pitbull away asap. That dog NEEDS to be taken away.

umm hullo... is anybody else like freaking out about this? this is like civil lawsuit city. All the vet bills plus damages. If the pug is licensed then you can collect damages on her ability to breed. take pictures. I mean lots of pictures. report this immediately to the sherriff. There are cities in the US that ban pit bulls entirely and the animal control is not the last resort here. You need to act on this fast to recover vet bills and this ass hole that laughed about his freaking dog literally ripping another dogs leg off? I am talking sue his freaking little smirking a$$ off. Further get that animal control officers name and immediately take this to his supervisor. You don't have time to deal with the old boy network.

Yeah, we're freaking out. That dog is dangerous. My mom has a daycare, and what if that dog would have gotten one of the kids? There is a lot of discussion about pitbulls in Colorado. They are trying to get them banned here, but everyone knows they are evil dogs with Jekyll and Hyde personalities ( ... )

bueno... this makes me happy you guys are acting on this load of crap. Dogs that can't get along in society don't belong in society.

Si, I'll keep you up to date on what happens. That man does have to get rid of the dog. It's not allowed in Evans. The animal control dude was nicer today, and saw the pug with her bandaged foot. She's actually walking around with it. She ran down the stairs because she is worried about her babies. She's one tough pug!

the same thing has happened to my dog Bear. He's been attacked twice by two different german shepards. luckily the animal control people were more helpful. i would ask to speak to his manger or whatever about the guys lack of support. The first dog tore a hole in my dog's chest and his front leg. the other german shepard ran up behind Bear and my mom when she was walking him on a leash and shredded his back leg. his skin was hanging off and everything. the worst part is that the dog's owner was standing in his yard watching the whole thing. we took legal action for the vet bills and they sent us a check after we sent them a letter telling them we were taking them to court.
Definently take this guy to court. if it is this dangerous it shouldnt be exposed to other people or dogs.

I hope your dog gets better soon, and take lots of pictures, hopefully before and after. the vet and animal control should have taken pictures for their report anyway.

Hey chica,
I'm sorry about your doggy. :o( We are definitely going to take him to court. We have pics that the vet took, and we also took pics of the blood all over the garage. I can't believe some owners. They shouldn't be allowed to have animals! It makes me angry!

The pug is back at home now because her babies need her. They are five weeks old. My mom says that she won't eat or drink and she has tears in her eyes. She was happy though when my mom cleaned her eyes. Her tail wagged a little. I'll keep you and everyone up to date on Pugzie. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your help. Take care, Diana

Oh my God. That creep should at least pay the vet bills. Keep me posted on Pugzie. Poor dear. And are you alright? What's this "much sickness" stuff, eh?

Hola, I'll keep you posted. We're all OK. Just really shaken up yesterday, and today she's attempting to get around with her big bandaged leg.

Much sickness....weeeeeell, that's what the doc said. I have drugs now, so no worries, hehe. :oP (Aaah! I'm diseased! JK!!)
