I still don't like pastels

It's small. I can't take a clear photograph to save my life.

the best way i've found to take clear photographs is to use a tripod or set the camera on a table rather than holding it, then i set it for a 10 second delay. i use offset lights and turn off the flash. works great with my camera.

that seems like a lot of work...

not really. tripods are very compact simple pieces of equipment. someone gave me one, and i've loved it ever since. but even so, i'm very picky about the quality of photos of my work, so what hassle it is, i don't mind at all.

I personally hate oil pastels cuz in 100 years they will still smear. You managed to make it work though even though you used such small paper - I think that makes it harder. came out good though. I wanted to make the new CD this week that I said I'd send but I was sick and coughing constantly and my voice was horrible. I think I am almost over it and will record tomorrow and mail it you this week. Chris

I put a spray over it, so it doesn't smear now.
I look forward to the CD, but don't mail it yet - I just moved this weekend and I need to send you my new address. Stay tuned...
