I don't know what to do. My best friend in the whole entire world, Brad/Noach Skikne, was killed in a car accident early yesterday morning on his way to UMass. His funeral is today at 1 in my hometown. Everything is a blur. I don't know what to do.

Is there any way you can make it up there? Even if you can't make it to the funeral, go be with the family for shiva. They'll really appreciate it.

I came home pretty much as soon as I found out... the funeral's in an hour. I just... don't know.

Nobody ever really does know how to deal with these situations. All anybody can really do is just be there for some sort of comfort.

Oh Tara, I'm thinking of you and praying for you, your friends, Brad's family... I have heard you write so fondly about Brad in the time that I've been reading your LJ. I won't even attempt to spout some platitudes about the loss of your friend. If I can possibly do anything to help, please let me know. I'll be in NY Nov 2nd-7th...I have no idea what I could do but if you think of something... *big hugs* Thinking about you...
