FYI - I didn't delete anybody. I changed my privacy settings. Instead of going entry by entry I just did a mass change. I've put a lot of personal thoughts on here in private entries, as well as some in custom friends groups, but I'm just not so into sharing my thoughts anymore. i thought about it, but there's so much stuff in here that i don't want to delete it. it's been almost four years and lots of things have happened in that time. it's not personal, it's just that there's just stuff in earlier entries that i don't want to be kept public.

i made a new journal (mstaralee) that i'm probably going to start writing in instead of this one, and it won't be nearly as personal as i've gotten at times in this one.
