Solution is simple:

1: rewrite 1/2 your stories to be YA-salable in the stores.
2: have all stories listed in the book, together with the website where they can be read/purchased.

Alternative:

1: Create your own publishing brand.
2: put all stories on website for purchase.
3: Put all stories for sale on iTunes bookstore and Kindle bookstore.

With the Internet and finally wide acceptance of eBooks, there is no excuse for thinking that we have to remain acceptable to Barnes and Noble.

True enough - but one of the big target buyers for the YA market is school and public libraries, where you almost have to have access to the Big Six Publishers.

The publishing industry is in a horrible muddle these days. The fallout should be very interesting.

Thank you for your support!

To continue to support YA fiction with LGBTQ characters, I have proposed creating Permanent Floating YA Diversity Book Clubs. If you wish to participate, the link will explain how to begin one, join one, or simply pass on the word.
