While Oregon isn't such a bad place, just remember that it has a high suicide rate for a reason. There is VERY little sunshine. It is cold and dreary most of the year. I spent almost 2 weeks in Seattle during the winter and it was by far the most depressing two weeks I've ever had. Even though I was having some fun. The sun comes up at 8am and is gone by 4pm. It mists... it doesn't rain all the time, it's just misty. So you might want to think about that if you love the sun. :-) Just my two cents. Oh and another note of advice (hey, i'm your aunt, I'm supposed to say this stuff) just finish up your GE while you're in San Diego. What is the point of going to an out of state JC and paying anohter $200/unit when you can get it done for $20/unit in san diego. Get your GE stuff done ASAP, then tranfer to a university in Oregon, or a trade school. Whether it's Oregon or another state, it'll be better to do it cheaper than put yourself into too much debt and have to quit school because it has gotten too expensive. I have many ( ... )
