This made me laugh out loud. I mean, I generally love exploding dog comics, but I very rarely laugh out loud at comics anymore.
I find, lately, that I am listening to myself laugh as an outsider. Most things just make me laugh on the inside.
When I laugh out loud, I feel like it sounds almost forced - as if I am saying to myself "I should laugh now, so I will."
Perhaps it has to do with the fact that, since I read a lot of funny stuff at work, I am training myself not to laugh out loud. It's not that I find fewer things funny, I just don't laugh at them.
It's a shame, really. I don't have the nicest laugh in the world, but I should be able to let it out more often.
I am at work waiting for someone to show me how to do something. Until then, I listen to Neil Gaiman read the Graveyard Book and play with magnets. Yay!
