good luck with your interview! reb is going to try to freak you out/wear you down, don't let him. stand up to him, but not in a defensive way. stress hard work as being your favorite thing ever!

how is he going to try and freak me out? i feel like that would work better with someone who has no familiarity with the film school. any other advice for me?

he's just going to be stern and cold. don't be intimidated by the jacket. some questions they like to ask: what's your favorite movie? what's a good movie you've seen lately? why? what's the worst move you've seen lately? why? what movie would do you wish you would've made? and then the usual interview questions: strengths? weaknesses? etc. they may even ask you something about being a volunteer on sets and knowing students and why you want to go to fsu when you didn't apply to other schools (assuming that you didn't apply to others schools ( ... )

oh fuckity fuck, you've already had your interview didn't you? well, just ignore the above.

I'm sure you did awesome!!!!!

Be patient. Send a follow up letter to them to let them know how you're doing in your studies and all that stuff!

it was good advice. they did ask me a lot of those things. though i didnt have to pitch a film like a lot of people said and they changed the thesis process. now, essentially, everyone gets thesis. and i dont think they do D3s anymore. i also feel like the group interview went well.

and i like your last idea. but who specifically would i send it to. i would love to send a letter thanking them for the interview.
