Yay update! :3

Poor jazz, he is getting the raw end of this deal. I hope Prowl isn't too injured and can clear the mess up when he's treated. Nice chapter, lots of tension. I do hope Icon doesn't get away though ^^;

Yay :D

Yes, Jazz is in the firing line, and he doesn't really deserve it, yet he's destroyed the evidence that could help him. But yes, Prowl will help when he can.

Only one chapter to go, now, then this little adventure will be over.

Ouch. Jazz gets handed the hard truth about a mech he called friend, and the conniving bit of shareware he was calling his girlfriend. Makes me think that he is one who loves not wisely, but too well.

And poor Prowl, suffering greatly once more at the hands of said conniving bit of shareware... hopefully he's not as badly damaged as the first time Slimline tried to off him? (This making, what, attempt #3?)

At least Brass seems to be getting an inkling that maybe Jazz isn't the one at fault here. (And, hey, how about that for turning the Prowl-is-the-one-who-works-himself-into-exhaustion trope on its ear?) ^_^

Yes, Jazz's choice of friends and lovers needs a bit of reassessing here. He's young, yes, but he's also been quite naive, very trusting and willing to take others at face value. I think he'll be much more cautious in future about who he trusts and how far.

Yes, poor Prowl has been at Slimline's mercy far too many times and he's quite had enough of it. As for how much damage, well we'll see next week.

"At least brass seems to be getting an inkling that maybe Jazz isn't the one at fault here."
Things aren't quite adding up for the commander, it's true. And in all honesty he hasn't got much to charge Jazz with (not knowing about gaming at all). A lot rides on what gets said to whom about what's been going on at Iacon academy.

"how about that for turning the Prowl-is-the-one-who-works-himself-into-exhaustion trope on its ear?"
:D Well I like to be different. ;)

*winces* hope the bag helped.

But look, I swear that's the last cliffy in this fic.

(Okay, so that's because the next chapter's the finish, but it's still true!)

Seems to me like getting arrested was at least what saved Jazz from getting himself shot, so a very welcome lesser of two evils there. And he's obviously already been cleared of any wrongdoing with Prowl, because getting interrogated by Prowl's boss is kinda the perfect alibi. Although I guess it depends on what kind of shape Prowl was in when found... can't wait to figure out how he got away from Slimline. Icon's right, that bitch is flipping crazy. Were she human, she'd be on all kinds of meds.

Jazz was certainly not going to get out of there safely without help, the way the conversation was going, so yeah, being arrested was a good thing, even if he doesn't think so. And yes it does give him an alibi for whatever's happening with Prowl.

Slimline is most definitely crazy. She does need some meds. Or perhaps a straitjacket. And right now they need to find her and Prowl before anything else happens!
