Jam packed update. Everything has really turned to chaos. Poor Jazz, I wonder why they keep it a secret though now they're on earth. I can't see anyone truly minding that much. It has to be hard for them both *hugs them* literally biting my nails here. ^^;;

The reason why it's a secret is going to continue to tantalise (i.e. irritate) throughout this fic without resolution; that's for the sequel to sort out ^_^

Okay, I have to admit to chortling over Percy being such a delicate flower while First Aid is (now that he's gotten his panic attack out of the way, anyway) so definitely Ratchet's apprentice. Hopefully Percy will have someone smack him out of his own panic attack eventually?

And, wow, Prowl's analysis of the situation... I hate that he's right. (Most days, probably so does he.)

I wanna smack Hot Spot upside the head, though. You stay at your post. Being gestalt is really no excuse, and now they're a mech down. I hope he gets reamed for that later.

Percy's not covering himself in glory here. Nor even just putting his shoulder to the wheel and getting on with it like Sideswipe.

As for Prowl, yes there is a kind of weary acceptance with his prediction. And lo and behold, he's proven right. He's not exactly ecstatic about that.

You're totally right about Hot Spot. But if we're going to remember what a novice First Aid is, then the same must apply to some extent to his brothers. It's not right, but it's how it is.

Damn, Prowl. Never has the old adage that a good lawyer needs to practice his opponent's strategy before the trial been so splendidly demonstrated. He just went right down that line of thinking for Megatron, and hit that nail on the head. Good thing the twins are there; they'll go down fighting before they let any Decepticons near Ratchet now!

Bummer time for Jazz, though. Secret courtships are never as funny in real life as they are in a sitcom, believe me. I'm putting my money on the reason that they don't want the Cons to find out, because it's just too obvious of a pressure point for Megatron to tap. Don't blame them, but it's rough having to pretend to be the slut of the ship just to keep one's cover. Here's hoping that after the chaos has blown through, they'll at least be able to sleep a good night's sleep together and everyone's too tired and distracted to notice.

He's just that good :D Which isn't always something he enjoys, particularly in situations like this. A very good thing Prime left him the twins (though I have the sneaking suspicion he would probably manage to work something out if it was just him and Jazz, anyway)

As for Jazz, well no the situation isn't funny at all. The role he's got himself stuck in is unpleasant and highly risky. Quite apart from his relationship with Prowl, if the others find out how he's been using them it's going to get very messy.
