Some good news at last. Seems like they still have some loose ends though. And what's with arguing between Prowl and Jazz? Unresolved tensions maybe? Great update.

Well everyone needs a bit of a break. Nothing is really sorted out at all, but the tension's a bit hard to sustain. (And down time means the tension rises higher when it starts again...)

As for Prowl and Jazz, well that will come clear over time.

So the first burst of emergencies have been dealt with, but I'm not so naive as to think that just because the first floor fires have been put out, doesn't mean the rest of the building isn't also on fire. Prowl's not so naive either.

You know who else is not so naive? Mirage! Here he is, second cleverest spy on the Ark, blithely ice skating right past the Biggest Secret in the army and barely missing it by millimeters. Jazz knows that, and it's givin' him the jitters! I couldn't tell from his thoughts whether Ratchet actually knows, or if the evidence just happens to be there in the files and is waiting to be found in the right circumstances. Nor can I tell from Mirage's perspective whether Jazz and Prowl are really fighting, or just putting on one of their carefully manufactured shows to convince the rest of the world that they can hardly stand one another. So many possibilities in this fic, and everything depends on who's holding the TV camera....

Love the imagery. No, we're far from finished jumping hurdles and dealing with messes, and Prowl's quite sure of it.

Yeah. Yay for Mirage, hey? He's not an idiot, and boy did he ever get a little close for comfort there but Jazz has deflected his interest for now and so things carry on.
