I do like that Prime is not one to be fooled easily. And I can understand why Jazz was so uncomfortable with their measures in case him or Prowl died. Pretty awful to think about. :/ Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Prime has known Jazz for a long time, and he's not having any nonsense at this point.

As for Ratchet's solution to their separation, no it's not fun. And no Jazz doesn't want to think about it. At all. Ever.

My head is in a whirl with all the plans and contingency plans and contingencies upon those contingencies... oh, Prowl, how do you keep track of it all? Prowl and Jazz are pulling off the slickest magician's act in all of history, and the rest of the bots don't have a clue. Luckily it seems to be a wide social standard that bots are touchy about their personal medical files, so at least Prowl and Jazz's caution won't stand out, and they're even coming off as more open than most by letting 'each other' read them - how trusting! What an example! It's all illusion and misdirection, my friends, and watch out for the mirror behind that smoke. Even Prime, sharp tack though he showed himself to be in this final scene, hasn't a clue.

"Prowl how do you keep track of it all?"
He has a really powerful processor built just for such things. (I, on the other hand, rely on scraps of paper, and various notepad documents trying to keep track of all the bits and pieces going on...)

Prowl and Jazz are definitely master magicians. Exactly as you say: "see, look at us, we're no more comfortable than anyone else, but we're willing to be professional about this and trust one another with our secrets anyway for the benefit of others..." Yeah, right. And yet they *have* got everyone fooled, haven't they? But as we saw last chapter with Mirage, it can be a very precarious thing. One slip at the wrong time could send the whole tower of lies crashing down around them.
