Ratchet's obviously in a very strange place right now, somewhere between amnesia and CMO WANNA TAKE CHARGE NOW. It's a bad combination. He seems to know who he is and what he's meant to do, but lost all context for any personal relationship he's developed over the last X amount of years. Who knows how long? And who knows if it'll even stick, since Aid and Jack are just getting started? I can understand his anxiety, but I respect his professionalism that he can even diagnose what's being done to him, medically, minute by minute. A doctor to the end, our Ratch.
