As some of you have heard by now, my stepfather passed away unexpectedly Friday morning. Dennis and my mom married when I was very young after my mom and biological father divorced, so for most of my life that I can actually remember, he was there as my dad. He was a good man in so very many ways and it hurts more than I can say to know that he is

Taranos, I'm so sorry; biological or not, a person's father is the man who raises them. I lost my own almost eight years ago and while the pain's mellowed enough that the good memories are stronger than the bad ones, I'll always miss him. And in a way, that's good; it might hurt, but you only miss what you value.
