California climate

  According to my igoogle page, right now at 1.55 Pacific Daylight time, it's 68F with 51% humidity and cloudy in Rolling Meadows, Illinois where I lived.  Addiionally, according to igoogle it's 62F with 47% humidity and overcast (that's another way to say 'cloudy') in Redlands, California where I am now

I still remember the first year we owned the house in Hanover Park - it was a HUD repo and we had no idea if the air conditioner worked and were afraid to turn it on because we had just bought the house and had no money to fix it if it didn't. That was the summer IL had more days over 100 than Dallas/Ft. Worth did.
