I never knew a time when my Ma wasn't off her nut.

After my father left, after I was born- guess all that did something to her. She was a religious crazy. Did things like keep me in the house for days, readin' bible verses like it'd chase something out of me. Didn't really get the chance to make many friends, on account of that. Hi there,
I am a huge fan of Carnivale. I was killing time, oddly checking to see if my use of "Every prophet in his house." was correct, and found this entry. I loved it! That last line about loneliness was killer.

So strange that phrase led me to such a terrific read, thought I'd mention it. Hope you're still receiving alerts from the site so you get to hear this bit of applause from the cheap seats. I hope you're still writing!
