I learned callipygian in high school (I used to read dictionaries for fun, and to find impressive words, heh) and I always remembered it because, well, I'm a fan. hee (My favorite impressive word? Tintinnabulation. The ringing of bells.)

Sybaritic is interesting, and I definitely am one. I doubt many people give much thought to the philosophy behind hedonism when they use it, though. It's good to know a more precise term! Although, if I heard someone refer to Sybaris (without seeing it typed), I'd totally assume they were talking about Cerberus and be quite confused!
