I have yet to watch Agent Carter because I wanted to finally catch up with Agents of SHIELD first. Now that I'm caught up on AOS, I have these things to say:
[SPOILERS for Agents of SHIELD through 2x10, ]-By the time I saw the finale, I'd already been spoiled that there was a #Tripplives campaign, so I knew that he had to be at least potentially dead. Knowing it was coming did not keep me

Agent Carter is a glorious show so far, I like Agents of Shield somewhat (it has its issues) but Agent Carter stole my heart straight away, do watch it! :)
I think Mack is okay. I'm under the belief that once Skye and Raina made it inside the main chamber, the temple un-possessed him. Of course, I just want Mack to live, so this may be wishful thinking. But yeah, it sucks about Tripp. He and Simmons had something going, but that totally got dropped for no apparent reason.
I like her a lot better this season than last season, but I still regard screentime with Skye as inferior to screentime with just about any of the other characters on the side of good on the show.
That's pretty much my thoughts on Skye, too. Less annoying this season, but I still don't care that much about her. She might become more interesting now that she's an Inhuman or whatever she turns out to be, but she doesn't need to be the second main character after Coulson. It's an ensemble cast, people; give the other characters some meaty stuff, too.
Watch Agent Carter as soon as possible. It's so good. I love Peggy so much.
I hope you're right about Mack being okay! I suspect that you're right, because hopefully if he was dead they would have made that clearer. I suppose we'll see.

Yep, I have been confused about the inexplicable absence of the Simmons/Tripp plotline that had so much potential. Now it's too late. :(

It's always frustrating when the Powers That Be for an ensemble show decide to focus too much on one character and that character isn't even the most interesting/likable character. I hope this new page in her story helps her evolve into a character more to my tastes, but I fear it may just ensure more focus on her story at the expense of May, Fitz, Simmons, Coulson,
( ... )
I loved Skye always and I love her even more now that she shot Ward and pissed off the Stand With Ward people who are the thought police.
I don't think this is the last of Trip alot of people want him back and are just as pissed as when Coulson died. so I think they are going to bring him back.
I'm now caught up on Agent Carter, and yes, it is utterly amazing! ♥
It would be wonderful if Tripp doesn't stay dead, but I guess I'm a little skeptical that it will happen. I don't think public outcry would have brought back Coulson if Marvel didn't have a plan for him, and I don't think it will automatically bring Tripp back. With Tripp's actor having another show taking up his time I am concerned that they won't want to go through a whole big resurrection plotline with him. I'd love to be proven wrong on this though!
Seeing Dichen Lachman and Kyle McLaclan being a family before everything went to hell would be great. Really, almost any excuse to have more Dichen Lachman gets my stamp of approval.
I have now seen Agent Carter, and I think I'm in love. :)
I'm glad you're enjoying Agents of SHIELD! If you're starting at the beginning, I suspect you'll like it even more as the first season progresses.
I find shuffle very hit and miss, fittingly. Sometimes it gets on a roll and puts together a weirdly perfect soundtrack for the moment, but more often it manages to find the music I don't even remember why I own.

I hate shuffle...it seems to always pull my least favorite songs into a single playlist.
