Various tv, movie, and fandom things that have been pleasing me lately:

-As expected, I am utterly besotted with Agent Carter.  Everything about it is glorious.  I love every Bechdel-passing, smashing-men-with-hefty-objects, magnificently costumed moment of it.

-I have also watched the first two episodes of Leverage, a show I've been meaning to

I'm loving every minute of it. They better renew this show or I will be super sad.

John Barrowman is a riot. When he did the con here, I got to see his underwear twice, so there's no doubt he will be just as entertaining at Gally.

Indeed! I heard its ratings are decent but not knocking it out of the park, and considering that period drama can be expensive I worry about whether that will be enough to get it renewed. A failure to renew would be a tragedy.

Yeah, when I saw Barrowman at DragonCon I laughed so hard I nearly hurt myself. That man is a gift.

Suddenly I'm wondering if Jack Harkness/Peggy Carter fic exists. :D

Well, ABC has stuck with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. thus far, and its ratings haven't been stellar either, so hopefully they have the same view on Agent Carter; that despite not great ratings it's still a show worth having around.

It's beyond me how John plays a villain on Arrow. He's much too kind to channel enough evilness to play a bad guy.

Peggy/Jack fanfic would be awesome. I can't decide if she would just blow him off if he flirted with her or if she would be kind of impressed by him.

Fingers crossed about ABC sticking with Agent Carter!

My headcanon is that Peggy would roll her eyes at Jack and blow him off upon first encountering him, but if she had to continue to interact with him she would realize that underneath all the flirting he genuinely respected her expertise. That's rare enough among men in the forties that she would enjoy his company. And for all his showboating Jack is very competent, and that's something else Peggy seems to value.
