Good to have confirmation about the age! I kept seeing fans referring to it as a high school, but that just didn't quite fit what I was seeing in the game

One of the other benefits of Spider-woman is that she's cheaper than War Machine or Vision and therefore means less skipped Starbucks!

I'm not a gamer either, but this game is super accessible to non-gamers if you do decide to try it. It doesn't require fast reflexes or anything like that. While it is fun enough to be something of a timesuck, there are limits on how much of your time you can spend because at some point all of your heroes will be busy and you can't do anything else for a few hours until they finish doing chemistry or dancing or whatever. So some of the factors that cause me not to play other games are absent or reduced.

But if all you want to do is look at screencaps, I do recommend copperbadge's Avengers Academy tag on tumblr. Lots of good stuff there.

This games sounds both ridiculous and awesome. :-) I'm not into mobile games, but I would totally be all over this if it was a console based game.

And I want Janet's leather jacket. It still has elements of Wasp's costume, but it looks super cute, too.

Ridiculous and awesome is exactly how I would describe this game! :) It makes me so happy.

I doubt they'll be releasing it for consoles any time soon. The game mechanics are definitely designed for mobile, since you progress with short-ish visits scattered throughout the day and can't really do long bouts of play.

I'm sure that as a fashion designer Wasp would be super pleased to hear that you like her outfit. :) I really like the look of most of the characters in this game. The clothes are all are inspired by their canon hero outfits, but also look like something fashionable real young adults might wear. As you level up the characters they change outfits to incorporate more of their hero costumes.

I was going to say that the costumes here would make great cosplays, but after a quick Google I see that people have already done it. Nevertheless, it would be a fun way to dress up like a Marvel character but you wouldn't have to get super elaborate.

I just googled for the Avengers Academy cosplay pics and quite enjoyed what I found. It does seem like these would be a fun way to dress up as the characters without the problems of skin-tight no-pockets spandex. :)

Yeah, the game is definitely implying something like that is going on, but I'm interested in finding out exactly what they do with the idea. :)
