What Will You Miss Most About Ten?
I was looking through "who_daily" and saw a post from sue_denimme on the community "doctorwho", and decided to make a list of the things I'll miss most about Ten. I think it will be a running list, as knowing me, I'll be bound to think of things later that I can't think of right now.
Things I'll Miss About Ten. And Why He Is "My" Doctor.
- I think one of the reasons that I adore Ten is his absolute, unbridled joy for life. His enthusiasm for even the smallest thing makes me smile.
- His energy.
- I also adore the fact that he's got a gob that can run on high all the time. It's quite endearing and funny! Especially watching the people's faces as he goes on and on! (like 5's face when he had a "skinny idiot ranting in his face about every single thing that happens to be in front of him"!)
- I absolutely love that he gets mixed up when making lists, like he did in "Human Nature" when he was listing a whole slew of things for Martha.
- Gotta love the facial expressions!
- And the oral fixation. I absolutely love the part in "Love and Monsters" where he picks up the jar of jam and starts eating it!
- The little mistakes he makes. Like in "Love and Monsters" when he parks the Tardis with the door against a wall and has to "re-park" it. Or how sometimes he ends up walking in the wrong direction and the doubling back in "Army of Ghosts".
- The fact that he's emotional. We've seen him angry. We've seen him cry. We've seen him laughing.
- The fact that he's non-judgemental and so open to new/different species, cultures, ideas, etc. I think that can probably be classified as a general "Doctorish" trait in all of his incarnations...but I thought I'd mention it!
