i'm constantly looking forward to these stories. this is almost worse than waiting for the new episode of doctor who. and i'm practically dying waiting for that new episode. *sigh*

i love the doctor's background. it just seems absolutely perfect, for him, for the story, even for rose.

*firsties!*

Congratulations on being the first comment!

I'm glad you're anxious for the stories. Enjoy them now... once I hit the post-Doomsday stuff (yeah, I'm going all the way, baby...) it's going to be awhile between posts. I would like that particular story complete or near complete before I post.

I'm glad you're liking his story and that it seems to fit. :-0

So I wasn’t entirely wrong, then, after all?

Very, very powerfully written. (I knew it had to have been somebody incredibly close to him that all this stuff had happened to. It wouldn’t be in his nature to be so obsessive about it, were it not for that.)

I told you that you were close. :-)

The story isn't done quite yet, of course... but yeah... someone very close, I'd say.

Thank you for the compliment.

I'm enjoying this story very much. Your history for the Doctor fits him very well: though he comes from a repressive society, he clearly knows how to love. It makes sense that he came from a happy home. And it makes sense that he values ordinary people the way he does: his parents, his wife were ordinary people. Though he became a Time Lord, he never lost sight of the importance of ordinary people.

Exactly. And Humans especially hold a place dear to him. :-)

I'm glad you're enjoying it. Any more John Tyler coming around soon?

Soon is the key word ... I've been having to rethink the next chapter. Hopefully I'll make some progress soon.

I'm glad some people are picking up on the little details... the canon vs fanon. :-)

More later.
