Thanks!

Wish I could take credit for the analogy. The Doctor did something very similar in the classic series to explain relative dimensions. :-) I just used pencil cups and super slurpies. :-)

Ah! lol I see... still... good usage. I've always loved it when Rose was all knowledgeable: the Doctor had to wear off on her sometime!

Wow, i haven't seen much of the classic series yet, and i cannot believe how simple that makes it sound. Of course the question is... does it really work? And does that relative dimension bit rely on the time bit?

In the end, they'll see the error of their ways. :-)

Rose is a smart cookie. :-)

Nope. They focus too much on what 'can't' happen, whereas our Forever Rose understand that 'can't' is only applicable when you 'won't'.

Oh, I like that...

I love how you staged the explanation. And I'm surprised Rose didn't react to the mention of Jack Harkness. Has she heard him mentioned before?

I suspect they'll learn a lot from Rose -- I hope they don't wind up trying to exploit her!

Rose has too much on the line... more than ANYONE knows, really... so she's not going to take any guff from anyone. I thought about having her react, but in my mind, she had known about THIS Jack for awhile... and to her, he's a different Jack. Which is why I chose not to have her react.

And thanks for the compliment on the staging. :-)
