Ooooh, Helen. amg that gif is so adorable fjskl;fs
Really, at first, he thought Helen was just a curiosity. Someone to figure out, and poke and prod, like he does everyone. However, as they kept meeting, and talking and laughing, he's grown to like her. It's true that he's lived about nine times more than she has, but he feels that she knows how it feels to be him; the heartache of having to lose so many people close to her, and having to close herself off because she knows that people will, eventually, die. He has that same heartache, and it unites them in a sober, depressing way, but connects them nonetheless and he wouldn't change a thing about it. They are who they are, and they got to where they are by being themselves. And, to him, where they are is exactly where he wants to stay, so he sees no harm in it

as for thatoldthatkind, Eleven is kind of torn between cheering for him and cheering for Rory, because he knows as well as TOTK does that they both do love Amy, but they're trying to step back. he doesn't want to drag himself down with... him. (weird.) But at the same time, he knows Rory deserves Amy. So he's a bit ARGH.
Bad day? Look at that gif. You'll smile.Starting back in the back! At the start, Helen thought he was sort of obnoxious and rather drilling for information, but she learned how to dodge around the questions and not reveal more than what she wanted to be known. When she learned that he had an extended life span, in her own way, Helen immediately attached to him. By her canon point the few people that understood what it was like are either MIA/dead/no longer immortal, so she is looking at living by herself for a long time. Knowing that there is someone else out there like that, who may or may not always be there, helps more than she's willing to admit vocally. Of course on the flip side, after learning about the Time War and how old he is, Helen doesn't feel as if she has the room to really dwell on her own life span or what she's had to do. Which means she just shoves it back under an emotional wall and doesn't bring it up again

Compass: They haven't spent too much time together, or rather, their journey hasn't gotten off the ground quite yet. They're still relatively canon, anyway--but that's still different. As they're getting near the party and dancing, Eleven's not quite sure if he's supposed to feel better now that Rory's gone and it's just him and Amy. But... he does. And really, he's not all that worried; he's coming up with a thing. It's like a plan, but with more greatness. The more he's around Amy, the more he thinks she needs to be with Rory. And the more he thinks that, the more he misses her, even if she's right there in front of him.
I think Amy and him have a very close relationship already, and Compass is only going to strengthen it. He's most definitely taking her whereever she wants, just like they mentioned in Vincent and the Doctor. Most probably after his "ball" trip, he's going to bring her to Mall or some place. So she can relax and have her mystery-free trip.

You really do know how to tl;dr. ♥ I've been up and about, but I definitely read it all andddd...
Compass: Because their adventures are just starting and being picked up somewhat in the middle, there are a few things I already assume about them. The way I see Amy is that she's very fragile, but very oblivious about it. She's had some time to sit on Rory's "death," so the sadness has seeped in and crops up unexpectedly. What worries her more is that she knows something's up by the way the Doctor acts around her. Sometimes she feels like it's something she's done and he might drop her back home any second. Other times, she thinks he's just afraid to let her get close because she's human and all that. It's a tricky spot, and she tries not to dwell.
But like you said, I think it'll make them stronger - make her stronger. Oh, and, she's going to love him forever for taking to Mall. Now that's the type of planet she's talking about.

Compass: Oh, the Doctor's trying to be as strong as he can for Amy, which is pretty strong by default, but he's trying to be what Rory can't right now. Which might tread into dangerous territory. He has no clue that he's making Amy that nervous about being put back home, but if she brings it up he'd be sort of 'what would make you think that.' because to him, that's sort of a 'you're not doing your job correctly' slap in face.
He's going to hate carrying bags for her. 8(
witchesreign: He's going to love and hate this version of Amy at the same time. Because on one hand, yes, he finally has someone to be his right-hand man (woman), and she knows him, but on the other hand, it's Amy, and he's supposed to be protecting her. Of course, he's got a lot on his plate already, and it seems that, yes, Amy's going to be the one caring for him. Which will make him feel so weird and young, which is good. WR is definitely going to send him back to the days at the Academy which might bring up some bad memories, as

parental: Joshua, oh my god, you are his little ray of sunshine, even if you pout and kick your feet and shoot people. Okay well, not shoot people, but. :|; Honestly, he's trying hard to be an ideal father. He wants to make sure Joshua grows up being loved, and while he and Sanae are doing that, he sometimes wonders if Joshua knows that, or realizes that they love him and it's not a one-time deal. And as he keeps growing and his physic prowess gets stronger, he gets more worried, because he himself knows what sort of pain a physic can go through as they age, and part of him wants to shield Joshua from that

parental: Ok, first let me get out of the way how much I giggled at ANYONE thinking Joshua is a ray of sunshine. XDD As for that shooting people, WELL. You never know. =|;
Joshua sort of knows they love him. Well, he knows, but he also half expects that to change at the drop of a hat because he's paranoid as hell and the more he wants something, it seems the less likely he'll get it. Which he usually views as 'fun,' but not so much in this case.
And while giving Joshua the 'Doctor' title would be a bad idea for many reasons, why the hell is the wild a problem. B| /STARES AT EVERY DOCTOR EVER. STARES.
gabriel: There technically is a grave but Joshua's still around. =|; HE'LL SHOW THE DOCTOR IF HE WANTS, JOSHUA'S WEIRD LIKE THAT

parental: WELL HE IS. Show parental!Eleven tinyjoshua and he's all /BAW
That's what Eleven wants to change. He wants him to know that they will always be there for him, no matter what decision he takes.
WELL THEY'RE WILD IN A DIFFERENT WAY. :|
gabriel: Eleven would rather not see that grave kthnx.
As long as he has that weakness, Eleven is going to stay there, because he doesn't see why he shouldn't--after all, yes, he's going to jump back to save the universe, of course, but he can come back in five minutes! Or days. I mean, well, that's not particularly his fault, it's like a business trip, he has to take them. Frequently. On the other hand, though, Eleven doesn't like staying in Shibuya because he knows it's so different, and it's... odd, for him. He embraces it, but at the same time, he gets the feeling it's not his Shibuya, just like Joshua isn't quite the Joshua he knows.
