Well I'm finally in Paris. The whole getting here thing was a pain in the ass. First we flew out of Iraq from a military base. We then landed at an American military base in Kuwait. After a day of doing stupid paperwork and almost absolutely nothing, we got shuttled over to Kuwaiti International airport (which is easily the nicest airport that I ( Read more... )

It was! Kuwait especially. The army just dropped me off at the Kuwaiti airport with my itinerary and pretty much told me "Figure it out. Bye."

But yes, enjoying Europe so far. =)

They are kinda snotty. They don't like it when tourists assume that they speak English when almost all of them do on some level. They don't like to feel like they were placed here on this Earth to please tourists when they have their lives to live.
