i think i've come down with pneumonia. i can begin to see the faint outline of a brilliant white light, the noise of detuned harps. don't be sad for me when i go, it's what i've wanted for a long time. sweet relief from an all-too-torturous world. i'm going to slit my cat's throat at the moment of my last breath so i can take her with me--apologies ( Read more... )

No no, no no. Pneumonia can be overcome. You'll make it, we'll be here waiting.

Hippolate, a young Nilihist vaguely related to the Prince, in Fydor Dostoyesky's 'The idiot' is currently holding court reading his eulogy, in my imagination, dying of 'consumption' and I'm dying to find out what he says. I would be more concerned, if I thought you were serious in the least.
Princess's it seems like to exaggerate. Or prehaps everything has flipped and reversed and the jokes are finally told as reality until the very end, when they're no longer funny. Happy Birthday

i'm glad i wasn't there to suffer that same dejection. life is never as wonderful as it's made out to be on television commercials and frozen food packaging.

Last time I saw you, you seemed rather motionless, impervious, and at first it made me kind of sad, like, Chris isn't the same..
But last night I realized, crashing from a mania and the cosmos coming through so much it almost splits the mind open, like so many of those 'coincidences' happen there isn't enough time to understand them, let alone speak of them. Crashing back to an opposing state, I felt like I imagined you did then, sitting there. And I hope you are neither good or bad, I hope you don't remember.
Do you have a woman's wig I can borrow for monday? All's I can get right now is a pink one. But I don't want to attract attention to myself, like a fucking punk. Just want to be a pretty little girl.

P.S. Do you have a vagina I can borrow? Buddy.

i do remember, in fact have been quite obsessed with the whole thing ever since. though less so now. it's a long process, trying to understand why it happened, for what reason did it happen, what it means for me now. the current popularly-held theory is that it was sort of a glimpse into what could be, an unfurling of a messy potential that if slowly built back up again (and purified, straining the more psychotic/paranoid elements out) could be made to last. but this is, of course, subject to change ( ... )
