Okay, so, there isn't much new news but I have to gloat.
I did karaoke for the 1st time on Sunday night. I went with my sis, steven, and his friend.
I was totally terrified because besides once for an audition ages ago, I have never really sung in front of anyone haha. So, I begged my sis to go up first. She said to help her pick a song. So, I

I got tested before and was told I was a Mezzo Soprano, which is the same thing as a soprano, just not as operaish. It's a darker tone. Anyways....I actually would like to say alto, though. Because when I sing high I don't think I sound well at all. I feel liek a sound mousey. Therefore, I don't sing too high. I have to pick songs that I can belt out/talk sing sort of. Somewhat like "Sweet home alabama", which is why I am thinking of doing it. I don't know. Suggest a song for me!

I totally wanna do "Sweet home Alabama". What other ones, though? They have to be ones that I can, like, belt out/talk sing like that song. Know what I mean? You'd know what I meant if you know what songs I'm talking about that I already did on karaoke night.
"Cheek to Cheek" by, I think Fred Astaire crossed my mind. or "I won't dance" by frank sinatra. I like doing songs guys originally do and changing it to a girl version because it's easier and now one can tell if you suck because they can't compare you to another girl haha

Hmm, "Strong Enough" is always a fun one to sing by Cher. "I Will Survive" is a stereotypical one. "Piano Man" by Billy Joel, "Goodnight Tonight" by Paul McCartney, "If You Really Love Me" by Stevie Wonder, "3 x 5" by John Mayer. Those are my suggestions.

Another suggestion: Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning". It's so meant for karaoke--in their music video, people are singing the song at a karaoke bar.
