What do you do to get the missing nutrition from meat? (ew that sounds gross) And do you ever feel pressure in like social or family situations to eat it? How do you deal with it?
i don't really bother to replace the "missing" nutrition from meat. i've kept that up for 11 years so far and haven't died yet... you just have to be conscious not to completely avoid protein and iron and B12... but luckily its not really that hard to get protein since its in eggs, cheese, yogurt, and soy. they also sell multivitiamins specifically for vegetarians so even if you don't feel like eating your spinach you can make up for the missing iron

I'm not a vegetarian.... yet. i have had some interesting lectures lately in my environmental geology about the environmental impact of raising meat. Hence m decision to limit my meat intake and eventually not eat it. ask away!
That's interesting, because that's the reason I was thinking about it (from similar lectures), most recently anyway. I know meat isn't the only thing that brings alot of related overconsumption, and I'm really just one person, so it won't make much of a difference, but I'm starting to think about cutting it out gradually. I don't know, I need to think about it some more.
