After the great snowstorm, and the ensuing boredom, Sunday brought a better day. I went shopping with Krissy, and it was fun driving in the winter wonderland. Just like everything else in my life that I worried about incessantly- the job fair went fine. I was prepared, I sounded confident, I did well. No jobs, yet, but cross your fingers.

Well the resume critiquing went fine. I got there early, I was the first one there. We're supposed to have 15-minute sessions but I ended up in there for an hour. I got all my questions answered, my resume only needed a few little changes, and for most of the time the career services guy just talked to me in the the most stereotypical career ( Read more... )

You know what- why the hell am I so nervous about this job fair? Everything I've ever been nervous about- college, relationships, tests, teaching, all those things- I've gotten through ok. Sure I've had some things turn out better than others, but overall I've gotten through it all. I will NOT be nervous about the job fair, or making cover ( Read more... )
