During the period feb.1980 - sep. 1984 we lived in the Sultanate of Oman, where I worked for the company Petroleum Development Oman (via Shell).
I have digitalised some of my amateur movies (originally Single-8 type) that I made during that period.
On the YouTube internet site of user ZRISKY (that's me) (http://nl.youtube.com/results?q=zrisky&search_type =) you can probably find a lot of reactions from young Omani people regarding these pictures. They are usually enthousiastic about seeing old pictures from Oman, e.g. from before the time that they were born.
