It's the first day of December, and it's currently 17 degrees celsius/63 degrees fahrenheit in Boston, on a day that has set new cold records on the prairies (and on which it's currently -10/14 in my hometown). So back in something like 2009, Marek and I discovered this French hip-hop group, Manau, whose first album, Panique Celtique (celtic panic!!) was a bizarre but compelling Breton/Celtic folk/hip-hop/rap fusion. Suddenly, it's rainy, grey, and November, and I'm decisively behind at things. I've discovered, however that AcWriMo (academic writing month, a national novel writing month knockoff) is a thing.
