bunny migration

Jan 09, 2011 16:57

so, the bunnies have been multiplying over christmas. yet again. unfortunately the ones that need to be written are refusing to cooperate. *headdesk*

but... I crocheted some more. I didn't really like the shape of the ears in the original pattern, so I fiddled around with it a bit :)

and it's incredibly soft, too. the cursed thing is sitting on my window sill and so far I haven't managed to walk past it without petting it. of course I only had one ball of that wool... but! I know where to get it and it's pure cotton and costs about half of what they charge for the merino wool (if I remember correctly) so I'll go and get myself some more some time tomorrow ^^ (I think I've found another addiction)

the blue one is my favourite, too. incidentally, he's also the last one I made :P
the pink and the blue are from the same wool but with different hook sizes and the blue one is a lot nicer to the touch. softer and sort of fluffier *loves*

Could you gte a ball for me too? Since Hannah wants a small Totoro so badly?

Any idea if/when we could meet this week? Not Tuesday or Thursday, though - uni & funeral :/ Weekend would be fine too.

Thanks :)

making all that cute stuff is becoming like an addiction ^^ after a little piggy and some more tree spirits (the tiniest one is about 4cm) I've moved on to experimenting with a dragon pattern... I think I'll end up with an army of crochet creatures, if I'm not careful *g*

Haha - thats's what I'd end up with if I had time to actually crotchet something. But then - you never know when you'll need an army, right?

Hi, just commenting regarding your help_japan offer thread. When I didn't hear back from you through PM I tried emailing you just in case you didn't get the notification - and then I got a message saying you didn't have a yahoo email account. So, kind of weird, but anyways. Give me a shout if you get this message - through here or pm or whichever.

hi, sorry to have kept you waiting, my internet connection is a bit fickle at the moment. weird indeed about the email, since lj notifications still seem to reach my yahoo account. I got your adress and don't worry, shipping's on me or I would have warned about that in the offer. It's kind of you to ask, though.

I got the pm with your adress and the dragon will start its journey on monday. I've never sent any packages to Canada before, so I have no clue how long it'll take in the end.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! I apologize for the message spam because I know how frustrating an on-again-off-again connection can be, but at least all the important information got through. :) Thanks for doing this! Your work is lovely, and I'm glad you seem to be having fun with it. I'll assume shipping is "a long, long time" and then any amount slightly less than that is bonus.
