Is there any truth to the saying: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer? Do you have enemies? Elros I do not think the two of you can ever be seperated, there is a bond there that started in the womb and has grown through life.
Fear is unessesary I think.

Elrond is still my husband and I will always love him, but that is all.

He has had many a gift of love in this life from many people. At the end it is you.

I just hope that you and I can perhaps manage a friendship?
